Name: Sequoia
Oakland, California (Zone 9b)
(Clematis) A true garden beauty, 'Ville de Lyon' is a vigorous free-flowering Clematis cultivar that will certainly attract attention to your landscape. The velvety, cherry-red 7" flowers are made up of perfectly formed, overlapping petals with deep pink central bars. Nicely contrasting yellow anthers complete the look. Standing 10-12 foot tall, 'Ville de Lyon' is an excellent choice for growing up and over arbors. An excellent rebloomer from June through September.
