Agree with Hetty. Pachypodium lamerei, unless it is some sort of cross but I doubt it. AKA Madagascar palm, but it is NOT a palm. To confuse you further!!! Sticking tongue out

If it goes dormant (i.e. loses its leaves) don't water it too much. They like the sunshine. I have 4 different species of pachys and they are all in full sun and loving life.
