"Watch For the Label
Customer pressure led Home Depot and Lowe’s last year to agree to put labels on all plants treated with neonics. The label is deceptive….makes it sound like neonics are better…but watch for the label.

Ask Your Retailer
There’s no government regulation (Alas!) that says neonics have to be labeled. The best thing you can do is ask at the garden center if the plants you are buying have been treated with neonics."

So thats good news! IF you know what you are looking for at some stores you may be able to avoid the insecticided plants. Its worded in a very positive light (misleadingly in my opinion, but there are some gardeners that will be happy with this "benefit")
If we had no holes in our leaves we would have no butterflies!
