Thanks for all the lovely complements onmy patch of dirt Paddy ,nope, no builders, all laid by my own fair hand. ;) I've learn't a LOT about mixing mortar these last few weeks
Lynn, my semps survived pretty well, they looked awful in January, but they've nearly all perked right up. I lost Alchemist, which I'm going to replace a bit later on, but I think that was more likely due to root damage after late planting last autumn than the winter.
