What is the orientation of your window datastream? Jades can take full sun nicely. It would be nice to open up those blinds some more.
The second photo with the variegated leaves are scheffleras. You may want to give it just a little more sun, to improve the leaf color variegation to make it a bit more green than whitish yellow.
