The second photo with the variegated leaves are scheffleras. You may want to give it just a little more sun, to improve the leaf color variegation to make it a bit more green than whitish yellow.

yeah thanks a lot. I'll do that....

I have a south facing window and also a west one so get the sun pretty much all day.....i'll get them blinds opened some more and make sure there never shut on a night tame so it gets full on sun during the day.

Are they good near drafts and radiators are is it wise to keep them away from sources like that.
