what are "railway sleepers" ?? is that what we call "ties" ? Under the actual rails, usually made from wood or concrete, and hold the rails in place?? I only ask because the ties are pretty much an integral part of my garden, my husband worked for the railroad for 39 years and had access to a few "supplies"
