Cool link Lin. I had kind of wondered if we had anything to do with the Bob Whites. Now I'm thinking it's a combo of my neighbor out back & us. They have the right conditions for nesting & we do too. Last year the neighbors out back were not there as the house was still for sale & had not been kept for years so the field was way overgrown & not what they would nest in. Now the neighbors have cleaned things up & they have the proper brush for nesting. Last year we only mowed our place in September so that made a good place for after they hatch and we're doing the same this year. They get to run around with all the wildflowers for cover. I thought I was just imagining we might have something to do with it. Maybe I wasn't. Smiling
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
