We've made lots of quail houses here out of branches and brush, and they love it. It's away from the house so that they are safe from the dogs, and they seem to be really happy! They usually show up for bird seed after the babies are born. Haven't seen any babies yet this year, but I'm sure there will be lots of them along our road. I really love quail! Especially when they are running! They remind me of my Grandma, always going 90 mph, but never really making much progress since they can't seem to pick a direction and stick to it.
