The winter before this one, I lost a lot of those that were fall planted. This winter was much milder with lows only down to minus 16 a few times. Also I planted much earlier, mulched much heavier, and we had a much better snow cover. I have only a couple that have not started to show green yet, but we've had a late spring with temps as low as 20 degrees this morning. I am especially happy to see green growth on Private Reserve, and Happy Happy.
