There are far to many nice iris for any one of us to grow. The beauty of the iris threads and the data base here on ATP is that I can see and enjoy pictures of many iris that I will never grow. I had a friend who is gone now who grew over 400 cultivars and added new things each year. His garden was just a few minutes from my home and my work and I visited often. One day a light went on in my sometimes dense mind. If Ray had a nice clump of a wonderful iris I didn't need to grow it. I could see it ever day of the bloom season in his garden. ATP allows me to visit the gardens of all my ATP friends and see lovely iris that I will not grow. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
