I'm so happy to see this being created and improved upon! I just contacted the Lake Placid Caladium Festival for more info about their event. Their website is not quite as informative as ATP. Hilarious! I've been talking it up on the Bulb forum but it would be nice to give it more exposure. Plus, I'm sure you all know Florida runs on tourist dollars! I'm also a member of the USF Botanical Gardens so I'll add their events, too. And Selby Gardens usually has some stuff going on. Plus, I know a lot of the clubs around here and when they have their events so I'll add those. Thanks to our weather, it seems like there's always something going on!

And an FYI, when you guys are at these events, especially plant shows, don't forget to take pictures! Plant shows are a great opportunity to see correctly labeled plants. Then, you can add them to the Plant Database and earn acorns! I was going through my old photos for stuff on the butterfly forum and I saw all these pictures I had of Bromeliads and African Violets from shows I had attended and added them to the database. In a lot of cases, I was the first one to add a picture to the plant entry because you often see rare or uncommon plants at shows. So have fun, but also remember to share a bit of it with us! And earn acorns! It's a win-win situation! Thumbs up
