Thanks for the attaboys. I will try to answer all the questions in one post. I bought Roselette as part of a co-op handled by Tracey in 2010. $10 plus about $4.50 each for s&h from Hollingsworth. The petals have a crinkled form but more substantial than a thin crepe would be. Holds up well with rain. It is planted in a raised bed which was 8" originally but has settled to about 5". Probably 75% direct sunlight in the Spring then nearly 100% in Summer. I just measured it as 36" to the top of the highest blossom and about 36" wide. One of my better peonies but it is next to Hot Chocolate in the same bed. Two interesting peonies. I am at the line between zones 5B and 6A about 80 miles due East of St. Louis, MO.
Roselette is a fairly common peony usually available from the major growers. I only purchase from them so I have no idea of cheaper offerings.
