Neal -- years back, maybe 08 or 09, my neighbor asked me about her roses -- so I snapped a few images and posted them on DG for identification. It came as as Rosette Disease. I told my neighbor exactly what I was told, even printed her the comments - of disposing of the plants and even going so far to get rid of the soil. She ignored my information and eventually all her plants were infected. [thankfully mine were on the other side of the house and were fine.]

about 3 yrs ago, they moved, leaving the roses behind. I do believe the new neighbors have since removed all the plants.

7 months ago, I moved ... My current home has Knock Out, which I don't refer -- but they are blooming. Now that I know what to look for -- I will certaily keep an eye out.
