I don't think there are that many hostas that grow to four feet tall come to think of it! The leaves on your hosta don't look all that large either. Now I don't know a lot about them but I would think a plant that grew to be that big would more than likely have very large leaves also. Maybe post your pic over on the hosta forum and see if anyone can suggest what it might be.
