Smiling I really can't tell from the photos and it's been a long time since I grew it. It was very yellow and that edge were things that were unique compared to others I grew that were also yellow and of a similar age. The edge was unique to anything else growing, new or old. I don't remember fragrance, but most iris tend to all smell the same to me. They would probably have to be extreme for me to notice any difference. I don't have a photo of what I grew because it was growing in the pre-camera days.
