She said these were bulbs. Another friend gave them to her, saying they were brussel sprout bulbs and that she should plant them. And he was munching on them! She said they smell kind of like cabbage, but didn't look like brussel sprouts. Sort of brown colored, too. (She drives me crazy, asking me to identify plants, sight unseen.
