I can relate, and hope that eventually a lot of my plants that are currently companions will be too big for that. But that is an issue for tomorrow, today is today. None of my groups are intended to be permanent except some of the succulents maybe. Taking cuttings might be a way to save some of your larger plants. I've moved many times, and in retrospect, I don't miss any of the other stuff I've left behind over the years much, if at all, but I do miss the plants.

If you do decide you're unable to keep some of them, maybe a botanical garden, university, or nursing home would enjoy having them.
