Normally I love anything green but your are correct about the ugliness factor of the carpet. It's gotta go.

The tall brown planter is going to have a sanservia snake plant that is tall, it is in the back yard adapting to more and
more sun, not quite ready yet, the reason I am doing a snake plant is it ties in with my cactus garden to the lest
of the porch along with my mexican statues. Thanks for the ideas!
