Haven’t been on ATP for a while because I’ve been workin like crazy on all the new /expanded landscape beds and what an absolutely gigantic chore that turned into!
More than I expected, and I expected a lot...
But I got it done!
Ended up using 26 yards of planting soil and believe me when I say it took an incredible amount of work. First dig out and wheelbarrow away to top layer of grass weeds.
Then after digging up the clay and chopping it into big pieces, I’d wheelbarrow over and spread a 3-inch layer of planting soil then work it into the clay while chopping the clay up into smaller pieces. Repeat 3-4 times.
Plus put in over 250’ of edging. Plus the mulch. About killed me.
Here are a couple examples of my accomplishments:

Got it done just in time because Paul Owen informed me that he shipped my order on Tuesday. Didn't see it today so hopefully tomorrow!
Getting all the new daylilies will make it all worthwhile, for sure!
