Thank you all for your caring words. In August 2002 we had a super typhoon packing 175+ mph winds that hit us directly, causing a tremendous amount of damage. Then nothing until just last March 16, when we got hit—luckily winds were only 65 mph and no damages. Another one, packing 175+ that was forecasted to hit us April 1 veered away (whew!). Three weeks ago, yet another typhoon, but it weakened and fizzled out. Now this one!
These activities are so unusual for this time of year. Here’s a picture of my plants in hiding March 16.
