Hello, Rose folks! I don't grow roses, but I like looking at them. Smelling them, too. The Tampa Rose Society was having their annual show on Saturday so I took lots of pictures to share. I also took Mom and then we ate at Red Lobster. Yum! FYI, I went to a Daylily show the weekend before and did a thread for them, so I figure you guys deserve one, too.

The show was at a local mall outside J.C. Penney's and it made me remember why I don't go to the mall. Parking was a nightmare! But we made it in. I've uploaded as many pictures as I could to the database, but there were some I couldn't find. I'll try to note those and if one of the Admins, Moderators, or members wants to add it and import my photo, feel free! Or, if it's spelled wrong, let me know and I'll search for it again. There are a few repeats in here, but lots of variety. I noticed some of the pictures I uploaded were the first photo of that variety, so maybe you'll see something new! (FYI, did you know if you add the first photo of a plant to the database you get two acorns instead of one? So add some pictures!) Now, let's get to the pictures! Keep in mind this was mall lighting. There was some natural light coming in, but not a lot so color could be a little off.

Fitzhugh's Diamond (couldn't find this in the database)

Joy (we're going to see a few more of these)

Flawless (and now I have the Beyonce song in my head) Hilarious!

Pope John Paul II (This one is really popular, huh?)

Sheer Bliss

Mr. Caleb (not in database)

'In the Garden' and 'Magic Show'

Vista (only one variety here)

'Granada' with Firecracker Fern in background

'Veteran's Honor' and 'Big Ben'

Okay, back to single flowers now.

We have a couple of multi-color bunches ahead.

Thumb of 2015-05-11/mellielong/e8ef14

Scentimental

Night Out (not in database)

Outta the Blue

Thumb of 2015-05-11/mellielong/f54658

These were both called 'The Fairy' but I only added the second one to the database because the first one didn't look like a double.
