I think the problem in many parts of Florida is the root-knot nematode. This nematode usually kills own-root roses within their first year in the garden and roses grafted onto Dr. Huey within their first three years. The only solutions are to grow roses in containers or to plant only roses grafted onto fortuniana rootstock. I noticed that most of your photos are of miniature roses, which can be grown successfully in containers, and roses introduced by K&M Nursery, which only uses fortuniana as its rootstock.
