Ohhh, my favorites, Primulas and Epimediums!! Totally charming!
We took a walk at our place in Pennsy over the weekend. Trees are just greening out. Coltsfoot is about done and the Troutlilies were coming up together with Tiarellas, Trilliums, Podophyllums, some Anemones, Ferns were just unfurling, Starflowers and False Cucumber. The green carpet on the forest floor consists of wild Lily of the Valley/Maianthemum) Visiting our Cyp acaule stands, many were showing buds.
The Narcissus are surely a leftover from a house long forgotten.
The Sunnies are very tame, were were amazed to see already this year's crop of babies trying to join the fray as we fed them soft bread.
I love this time of year!
