As you well know, Hetty, I can NEVER grow them as trees. I don't have the advantage y'all in paradise do. You said that I would never see a seedling bloom within three years, and I am only half way through that time frame. If that's true, and I have no doubt it is, I would not lose a bloom this year regardless. IF I don't cut these suckers back, the way they are growing, they will both be 8' tall by the fall! I have no place to put a plant that size for the fall/winter months.
