@quietyard Linda, The Northern Mockingbird, Gray Catbird and Brown Thrasher are in the same family; all about the same size and shape but different markings:

Thank You! Lin for the photographs, that is very helpful. Smiling I am familiar with the Thrashers and Mockingbirds but had only heard about Catbirds.
