LOL Barbara -- I suspect that most of us have yielded to the temptation of buying road-side Irises without names. I know that I have. I might even be tempted now, if I saw something so beautiful that I couldn't leave without it! Green Grin!

Teresa -- where is Iris City Garden?

This past week a friend and I went to Tennessee and visited Wild Iris Rows in Springfield. Here are a couple of photos.

Thumb of 2015-05-16/Muddymitts/41b0d3 The main bed behind the house, overlooking farm fields and a pond.

Thumb of 2015-05-16/Muddymitts/a6fd90 These Irises in front of the front porch of the farmhouse, were planted throughout the Iris beds.

I didn't do a good job of photographing the facility itself. I was too busy taking glamour shots of all the beautiful Irises there. Hilarious!
