The first few roses blooms have opened here! Just realized I need to get photos of some, but did get one of this old garden rose. The start came from an old, neglected cemetery several years ago, near a hard to read headstone. The name Stella could be made out, and that she had been murdered (they used to put odd details on headstones). I call this rose "murdered Stella's rose". It is wonderfully fragrant.
