Kyla, I have a lot of fun going to plant shows and botanical gardens and then uploading the pictures here. It can get you a lot of acorns, but that's not why I do it. It's also nice to go places where you know the plants are labeled correctly and if it's a plant show, you often see the best representation of the plant possible. Just protect your wallet if they're also holding a sale! Hilarious! But it's a great way to get out there and enjoy plants, help our database grow, and score acorns! I've actually added a lot of the first photos to some plants because they're somewhat uncommon or rare and likely only to be found somewhere like a botanical garden.

And speaking of that, be sure to check the fairly new Gardening Calender of Events feature for happenings in your area: http://garden.org/apps/events/ And to all the members - don't forget to add events to the calendar because that earns you acorns, too!
