The lawn here is mostly clover, which is nice! but it gets mowed by a crew my cousin has hired for years. So I don't worry about it.
This morning I planted out 8 chamomile plugs, a thyme and a sage plant -- my last herb seedlings. I do still have one winter sown (though not in winter!) jug of milkweed to plant out but not today, as it is a hot day already, and that project is a bit too extensive to start this late in the morning.
I also repotted a NOID sedum I got from a plant trade via my neighbor, into a larger pot to let it develop more before I site it in the ground. The note with it said it gets tall (I'm guessing maybe 24 inches) and has survived four winters here (good news!). I can probably ID it but haven't tried yet.
I *squeeed* out loud at my first cucumber flower! and we noticed honeybees flying in and out of a large-ish overturned clay pot; wonder if they're hiving in there!
