I would like to experiment a bit with hybridizing, and want to focus on very hardy irises with PBF, stems, or bracts. I checked the data base and got some, but couldn't find any selection for hardiness. (They ALL say zone 3, except for a few AB's.) Anything come to mind? Someone said that Lip Service has dark red spathes, and it shows on a photo, but it isn't noted in the details for this variety. Has anyone done any hybridizing for these qualities?
