Thanks Everybody !! I have had a lot better spring this year than last we still have had weather related issues at home with a couple late freezes damaging bloom and rot but I am very happy that 50% or so of the seedlings will bloom it is very encouraging to come out and find something fun and different every morning in the seedling rows there should be a lot more opening over the next few days that hopefully have some winners. Here are some more from todays bloom
Debra... Thanks for the laugh's tonight
MaryAnn.. Thank you for the kind words but these are nothing like what's blooming in the Ghio and Keppel gardens but I at least have something fun to work with now and getting a better idea of what plants are good parents it will be cool to see what happens when I mix these all together
Cory.. Do post your pictures I enjoy seeing what plants made what that is part of the fun of this I will start a thread after they all finish to show what bloomed from what cross. I have been surprised with a lot of them the newer plants have such advanced pedigrees that it's impossible to know what you will get from crossing too of them together and I like that it's part of the fun.
This last one was neat I can't remember seeing a plicata with beards this big it really stood out in the row amongst the others
