Oh, Salpiglossis are simply wonderful (sigh, yet another one I forgot this year Sad ). I have grown them for several years, both assorted seeds and some specific ones (Chocolate Royale) and they are all just lovely! It's hard to get photos that do them justice. They DO prefer to be planted in a bed rather than in containers. They tend to flop over in smaller containers, although they did well for me in a fairly large raised bed. And I had volunteers for a couple of years next to that raised bed that did very well, too. Just beautiful flowers! Good luck with yours!
