Once they've cured and any foliage falls away easily and dry soil sloughs off easily, I store them in plastic mesh bags I've saved from bulb orders (onion bags or old nylons work well too). Daffs and Hyacinths stay on wire shelves at room temperature, tulips are hanging from hooks upstairs where its warmer.

I prefer to hang all of them, just don't have anywhere downstairs to hang the daffs and hyacinths. I figure setting on a wire shelf should be fine, they are still surrounded by air that way. If you have an out building or garage, that would be perfect for all of them.
