Hi Doris, mine are out now, but when I have them inside is when I have more issues with pests than I have outside. With the dry conditions inside. I find they get those pesky Mites.
I have not seen anything sticky from mites, but definitely from aphids.
The mites usually make the leaves somewhat speckled looking, although you are probably aware already of this.
I hope you can find out what is causing this.
