No,I don't think it's a cucumber beetle...I do have some of those and I did take a photo with one on a daylily bloom. This beetle is much larger and no spots or strips. I picked off a couple on different plants this morning. I will start another thread and add photos showing the beetle better later. I tip my hat to you.
