Most Cattleyas will attach to that beautiful pot in one season, in the second season it will climb over the edge. In its third year, one has a choice, rip off the roots and repot or, as I usually do, plop the whole thing into another pot or basket.
But it does look very nice while it lasts! Thumbs up Smiling
