I loved your idea about planting things at an angle, Arlene. It's one of those things that I think "why didn't I think of that ".

I need some advice on my Guernsey Cream. It's been in for 5years and was covered with huge flowers from the very first year. This year it's not getting as much greenery and there are fewer and much smaller flowers. I can see a lot of dead stuff and am wondering if it should be cut back and cleaned up after it blooms? I did the Epsom salt thing and will do it again, but that didn't seem to do any good. Will it bloom next year if I cut it back, and would I cut it to 24"?
I hate cutting it down as it's been so pretty, but I want to make it new again.
Happiness is doing for those who cannot do for themselves.
