Ashton - Yes, I heard about all the rain (flooding) y'all have gotten. That storm that moved across the USA really did a number in many states! Looks like there is something brewing out in the Gulf, so we will probably be getting rain from that storm system.

This is a first year blooming for CCC64, so the bud count was nothing exciting. 6 buds on a single scape from a small fan. I think it will improve next year. I, too, love it. The colors are old fashioned romantic! It is also showing some rust resistance at this point. Fall will be the real test. But it is definitely a possible candidate for registering. I have several that I am thinking might be worth registering, but I want to give them another year or two to see how they perform and if their bud count goes up, scape structure improves, and rust resistance is constant. I know I won't get all those characteristics, but I am hopeful. I am naming them in memory or honor of loved ones. My most beautiful patterned seedling will be named in honor of my baby sister who is currently battling cancer. She deserves to have the most beautiful patterned bloomer because of all that she has gone through and continues to go through. It is pink, too, with multiple colors in the pattern. (See my avatar.) Thumbs up
