Seems like there was more traffic on posting blooms last year. I'm going to do a long post with some new things and others. First up is Mad Dogs And Englishmen - the left photo was taken mid-morning and the one on the right late in the day. The sun faded the edges. When things fade the results aren't always good, but this was a neat effect. I think the defect seen on the bloom is from hail damage. There are multiple stalks so I'm going to wait for another bloom before adding a photo to the database.

This is Dreams Come Through. It started blooming in May. I thought it might flatten out, but so far all the blooms have looked like this and time is running out.

Yesterday I said Primal Scream was trying to be quiet. Not today. Those blooms are a lot brighter than a caution light when the sun hits them. Amazing color!
