Jasmine, they looked like they were a dried edible bean. The Magic Beans were cute but it would have been nice if he/she had named them so people could feel sure about eating them. If it looks like a normal bean plant I myself would eat it.
I'm finally starting to plant out some of the swap plants--they sat in my car for almost a week before I was able to go to Indiana (in a parking garage in the shade)
In years past the most special plants would wait the longest for me to plant them out, since I wanted the perfect spot for them. Lots of them died waiting to be planted. Now I stick them in the ground, anywhere, so they won't die in a pot. Has anyone else had that unfortunate habit?
