Thanks saecho! Oh, sorry that your mandevilla died. This one was a hand me down from my neighbor, her garden was too hot, no shade there, so she gave it to me a couple of years ago. It pouted for about a year when I repotted it, so I was really ready to yank it out So I am on a learning curve with it..maybe it is one plant that needs to be really warm but not in too dry heat..oh well..will learn as it goes.
