@dirtdorphins - There must be something wrong with me, because I really don't see a color disaster in your front garden. Not with the plants, anyway.... (The sandstone color is not my favorite for rocks, but you have to work with what you have.)

Returning to the subject of pink and yellow being a disaster (or so some people see it), I took this photo yesterday, looking down the side yard garden along one of my raised beds. It has 3 yellow daylilies, a peachy daylily, and the pink rose 'Carefree Wonder' in the middle of it all. (Also present but not seen is lavender lantana at either end of the bed.) I don't really consider it a color disaster (though some here may Rolling on the floor laughing ). Maybe I am prejudiced because I like lemon yellow daylilies, and the daylily 'Osterized' in particular?
