Are we ready?

Coleus Co-op Time! Wooohooo!!! http://www.ncfarmsinc.com

This co-op is for a total of 10 people splitting 20 varieties of coleus cuttings from NC Farms. Normally in the past I have chosen the varieties but thought we all might want to chime in. We can do it either way, I can choose all of them, I can choose half of them or we can all choose, it doesn't matter to me. Of the varieties chosen we will all get 10 cuttings each. So these 10 cuttings will cost you a total of 90 cents.

There will be shipping from NCFarms to me which has been a bit over $40.00 so I would imagine the shipping will be about the same this year. I will pay anything over $40.00 to make it easier for us to calculate and have payment in. (If shipping is less, I will refund to you)

I’m looking at April 12th so NCFarms will ship on that date, overnight to me and they will arrive on Tuesday, April 13th. I will pack and reship to you either that same day or the following morning. In prior years, I've always had them packed and out the door the same day they arrive here. I plan to have all my boxes & supplies ready to go when the cuttings arrive. I will ship to you Priority Flat Rate for $10.20 so if I can get them to the post office on Tuesday you should have your cuttings by Thursday, April 15th. I will use sandwich baggies to put the cuttings in with the name of the cuttings written on the outside of the bag.

One more thing… if you are new to this co-op, please do your homework. Go to the NCFarms website and click on the FAQS on the right side of the homepage. There you will find videos of what you can expect. These cuttings will not be big, they are tip cuttings… last year we got some that were about an inch long. Actually I was a bit shocked the first year I did this when I saw the size of them but I had 100% success with everything except one variety and I really think it isn’t a very stable coleus anyway.

The cuttings are $9.00 per 100 so that multiplied by 20 is $180.00. Add shipping from NCFarms and then shipping to you and everyone’s total should be $22.00. Wow, that comes out to $0.11 per cutting.

2600 cuttings = 234.00
Overnight shipping from NC = 40.00
Total = 274.00 divided by 10 = 27.40
Shipping to you = 10.20
Your total = $37.60

If paying by paypal your total is $38.99

I would prefer payment from paypal but if you would rather send a check, that will be fine also. I would appreciate payment by Friday, April 9th.

If you are new to this co-op this year, I will need you to send me your shipping address so I can have labels printed and ready to go when cuttings arrive. Please respond by cmail with payment method and your address.

One other thing that worked really well for me last year is that I had all my supplies ready to go when my box of cuttings arrived. If you need a place to order seedling supplies this is a good place. http://www.novoselenterprises....

PS We do not have to stick with 20 varieties, we can have a few more if everyone agrees. I just don't want things to get out of hand and people feel obligated to get way more than they want.

If you have questions, fire away!
