I went to the Sarah P. Duke Gardens yesterday, and posted some of my pictures on another thread. Bur now I realize I forgot to post the pictures of the Iris Fountain! This fountain greets you at the garden center before you enter the gardens proper. It is very long so I have taken shots of each group of iris represented.

I spent most of my time in the Asian gardens because I wanted to catch the Japanese iris while they were still in bloom.
Many of the tags were mixed up, unfortunately. This was labelled as Peacock Dance, but is missing the purple veining on the falls:

In keeping with iris, there is also a beautiful metal bridge called the Iris Bridge: the sides of which are fans and blooms of iris.
