I think it is a crinum now! I've only changed my mind four times. The "leaves are purple, but some green out" is exactly what this one does.

I have a lot of big green floppy crinums (Spider lilies) around my gardens, but none have ever bloomed. I've received them from gardening friends who were sure "anyone could grow them." I can grow them, but not make them bloom. Maybe I'll have better luck with this one if I leave it in the pot. Whistling

Thanks again to all. I will have to confess at the next garden club mtg. that one of my plants was mis-ID'd by me. It will make a good story!
