Luna Moth:
100-300 eggs are laid four to seven at a time on the undersides of leaves; they are incubated by both parents for eight to thirteen days.
There's a photo of the eggs which can be enlarged, does it look like it could be an egg? Moths would mate and lay their eggs very soon after emerging, nature often doesn't allow them to live for long so time is of essence to survival. If you caught the moth straight after it emerged then it won't have had chance to mate, nor incubate the eggs. Often, a 'spare' egg is laid away from the rest.

If it's not these eggs, it might be an insect of some sort at a certain stage so I would watch it.
