I think I'm going to beat you all when my plants start blooming! I was looking at two beds yesterday with dahlias, phlox, Echinacea, and hibiscus. Red phlox combined with light pink hibiscus and hot pink cone flowers will definitely be an eyesore, but the assortment of Dahlias (which I didn't bother to look up before I planted them) should be the icing on the cake! I've already decided that the dahlias will be treated as annuals and heuchera will be planted throughout these two beds next year. But I will have to move the Echinacea to a more friendly spot, too.
When all is said and done, there’s more said than done.
