Watercolor soft orange with soft pink is my favorite, so I think I would have liked Ms J! My closet is full of those colors too.
The clematis that I have trouble siting are the striped ones. I end up putting them on a trellis by themselves. For some reason, pink and white clems are the most challenging for me. Even on a red rose, they don't look right.
What do you all do with the multicolor ones?
My only successful pairing so far has been on an espaliered apple tree.
