Jolana, I don't mind saying; it's called Pandanus or Pandan leaf. It is commonly grown in a Thai 'kitchen garden' and used when preparing food. There is no substitute for this when cooking - and y'all know that green is my favorite color.
But sadly my plant died as it did not enjoy my indoor climate in the winter; I hate to buy from some stranger on eBay.
When I saw the nursery man was a Thai, I immediately thought of this plant. He might know it as Bai Toey Hom, or Baitoey.
